🌧️ Innsbruck Stopover

The road to Carinthia led us through Innsbruck — a city tucked between tall alpine peaks and full of quiet charm. We stopped there only for a few hours, under a low, gray sky that hinted at rain, but even that didn’t hide the beauty of this Tyrolean capital.

We wandered through the narrow streets of the Old Town, where pastel façades stand shoulder to shoulder like old friends and the famous Golden Roof glimmers faintly even without sun. The air smelled of wet stone, roasted coffee, and freshly baked pastries — the kind of mix that makes you want to linger longer than planned.

A simple lunch turned into one of those perfect travel pauses: a warm slice of pizza, a view of the mist rolling down from the mountains, and that unmistakable feeling of being somewhere deeply Austrian — orderly, proud, and quietly alive beneath the clouds.
